Can You Predict the Future?
By: Abbie Baze, Mia Boles, and Anthony Weng
Summary
The article Predict the Future is about certain people that were able to "tell the future". One of the men that predicted the future was David Booth. He had a dream about an airplane plunging towards the Earth. A few days later, a plane in Chicago, carrying 275 people, crash landed and killed everyone on board. Another man named Robert, predicted that he would become court favorite and starve in the Kings castle. Eventually the king came back to a dead servant. Another man, used a stone to tell a woman woman that her husband was with another girl up in Paris. He had been right and been killed by the woman. Before this he had predicted the Doom of the Sea Forths. It happened 100 years later but he still predicted. This article is just explaining how some people could predict the future.
Another Story of The Future
A book made in 1898 predicted the sinking of the Titanic. It was called "Futility, Or The Wreck of the Titan. The authors name was Morgan Robertson and she said in the book that the largest ship ever built, crashed into a iceberg and sank. It sounds exactly like the Titanic story. This story is an example of being people predicting the future as the Titanic was a tragic event that had happened.
