Reminders as We Welcome Back Visitors on Campus

Parents and families,


We are excited to see you all back on campus and visiting our school. We have missed having you all being a part of our school day and experience. I wanted to take some time to remind ALL visitors of expectations while on campus.



  • All visitors must check in through the front office with a valid Texas ID/Drivers LIcense/Passport
  • All visitors must stay in the areas in which they are checked in to. Example: Cafeteria, Library, Classroom
  • All visitors must use adult restrooms only
  • Students insturctional time is sacred and must not be interuppted
  • Visitors are not allowed to engage in conversations with other students other than their own
  • All volunteers must have a a FBISD background check on file
  • Lunchroom visitors are not permitted to converse with students who are not their own

Parent, Familiy and Community Night for English Learners

BISD Multilingual Department will host a Parent, Family, and Community Night for English Learners (now called Emergent Bilingual Students) on May 18, 2022, at Ridgemont Elementary from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The event will target families from elementary, middle, and high schools in our Willowridge feeder pattern, but all families of Emergent bilingual students are welcome to attend. Families are invited to learn about our programs for Emergent bilingual students and the resources and opportunities available in our community. We will feature guests from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Fort Bend County Libraries, Literacy Council of Fort Bend, HCC Southwest, and USAHello.org. Please share the attached flyers with all stakeholders.

STAAR ONLINE Starting Spring of 2022

If you want to help familiarize your child with the online STAAR testing platform or go in and explore it, please take a few moments to visit the Texas Assessment website. Practicing at home a few qestions a night will help students become more comfortable.

Early Pick-Up Reminder

This is just a gentle reminder that students will not be checked out from campus after 2:45 p.m.


This procedure is to ensure that dismissal runs smoothly and safely for all children and staff. If you have an appointment that you need to check your student out for, please arrive prior to 2:45 pm. No check-outs will be permitted after this time.
