The annual Enrichments season will ramp up for 8 weeks in February and March.

This is a great opportunity for students with a special interest, experience, or talent to take a leadership role in planning and leading an Enrichment.

We encourage students to develop ideas and step up with their coolest plans for enriching Enrichments. Ideas can be submitted here.

Resources for parenting

Making Caring Common , a project at Harvard's Graduate School of Education, has lots of thoughtful, helpful resources on parenting and educating our children.

Two of the topics I've been reading on lately are College admissions and Caring, Empathy, and Concern for the Common Good.

I also like A Parent's Resource Guide to Social and Emotional Learning from Edutopia.

You may find them interesting--thought I'd share.

Health guidelines

Please note that best health practices are to keep students home when sick.

Students should stay home from school for 24 hours after having a fever, and 48 hours after vomiting. We encourage resting for recovery!

Absences due to illness are excused; please send an explanatory note to the advisor within three days.

Students have three school days extension on missed work.
