Central School Summer Reading!!
The district’s Every Hero Has a Story list along with Suggested Response Activities can be found on Mrs. Miller’s e-board, JLMiller.haddonfield.site.eboard.com! Click on the SUMMER READING tab!! The list contains suggestions only; there are no mandatory titles for students exiting first through fourth grade. Students are encouraged to explore a variety of printed materials including books, magazines, manuals, journals, newspapers, brochures, pamphlets, maps, advertisements, and catalogs.
The Every Hero Has a Story contains the summer’s reading goal for each grade level along with a place to record dates, titles, and time spent reading.
- At the end of the summer, record the total number of hours spent reading.
- In September, have your child return the log to his/her teacher.
- Every child who returns the form and meets the grade level goal will receive something special in September!

Every Hero Has a Story!!!
There will be a Summer Reading Kick Off Event in the Haddonfield Borough Hall Auditorium on Thursday, June 25 at 6:00. Science tellers will be performing their new summer show, Super Heroes! All ages welcome and no registration is required. Children can sign up for the summer reading program, enjoy snacks and have a chance at winning door prizes.
The End of Summer Party will be held on Wednesday, August 26th at 6:00 PM in the Haddonfield Borough Hall Auditorium! Come enjoy a magic show, snacks, door prizes and water ice!
