Copernicus
Copernicus was a Renaissance mathematician and astronomer. He formulated a heliocentric model of the universe. He also placed the Sun rather than the Earth in the center of the universe.

How did the change impact change in society at that time ?
The people of this time quickly noticed that something was not right about the Geocentric Model. It was the Earth and the Sun's confusion with which one is to be centered. Copernicus soon after revealed the truth that the Sun is to be centered.
How is that change evidenceed in todays modern society ?
Because of these men we know that the Sun is the cebter of the universe .
