Weekly Recap
Hopefully this message finds you in good spirits. This was an exciting week with us recognizing the 50th Day of School, having fun with Character Day, enjoying our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, and engaging in various learning activities. Scholars also learned about the Kids Heart Challenge at our kick-off assembly. Additional information is included in the newsletter. The goal is for our campus to raise at least $2000 for the American Heart Association.
Tuesday, November 6 is a date to save for three reasons. It's the last day to turn in a Gifted and Talented nomination form (information included on below in the newsletter), Election Day, and Spirit Night at Chipotle. If you have not voted, be sure to do so, and swing by Chipotle in Cedar Hill between 4:00-8:00 p.m., and mention Lake Ridge Elementary.
When wondering about key dates, be sure to review The Lake Ridge Bridge and the calendar located on the campus's website. As events are scheduled, dates are updated so that you can have a place to reference.
Our attendance this past week was very low, so let's aim for 100% attendance this week.
Read the information located on below in the newsletter to learn about campus/district happenings, important reminders, news from APD and PTA, and upcoming events. Always remember that "The Race for Excellence has No Finish Line."
Question for You to Pose Each Night this Upcoming Week: How can you make a difference in your community?
