JEE 29th Annual Jump Rope for Heart
We are preparing for our 29th annual Jump Rope for Heart to benefit the American Heart Association. We dedicate our event to the memory of Matthew Rowland. Matthew was a fellow Jenks Trojan who was a victim of heart disease in the summer of 1994. Thanks to all of the jumpers, volunteers, and donors we have raised over $433,000 in the last 28 years. You can help save thousands of Oklahomans’ lives by taking part in this year’s event, and collecting donations.
Important things to remember:
- Students should neither ask strangers for money nor collect door-to-door.
- Checks should be made out to the American Heart Association.
- Using www.heart.org/jump is the easiest, quickest & most effective way to collect donations.
- Students collecting donations need to bring all contributions, a printed report if collecting online, and their completed collection envelope (first and last name, teacher’s name, and t-shirt size if raising $50 or more), to school ON FRIDAY,MARCH 13.
Please check your child's Thursday folder for more information.
