What's Happening!
Last week we celebrated Read Across America! It was a fun week filled with dress up days and lots of reading. The school met their goal of reading more than 4,000 books. Because of this, they got to do makers space (building and art projects) during their special times.
Students are writing a biography about an inventor. They could research and write about Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, or Alexander Graham Bell.
On Friday, we had a special science presentation from the 3M company. This is something that is really fun and interesting for the kids. They definitely learn a lot!
It sounds like the kids had such a great time at the family night for Read Across America! They were filled with stories the next day.
