Biography
Childhood As a boy Edmund was in to astronomy. He loved studying the stars.
Wife In his thirties he got married to a woman named Mary Tooke.
Children He had two children, Margeret, and Richelle.
Career Edmond Halley was a scientist and a mathematician. He began his career as an astronomer when he had a paper published on theoretical astronomy when he was a college student.
Schooling He went to St Paul´s school in London.
Acomplishment He was the first to calculate the orbit of a comet later named after him.
Hardships Father went missing and was found dead five weeks later. Mary took and sold all of Edmond´s work equipment, so he couldent work.
