Principal's Message
Greeting Grewenow Families!
In this edition, Id' like to extend an invitation to all of our families to our school's annual Title I meeting on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30PM in the Multi-Purpose room (which immediately follows the Grewenow Expo and ice cream social).
At this meeting, you will be provided with an update on our School Achievement Plan, how Title monies are being allocated to benefit student literacy and numeracy, and some insight into what next year's achievement plan will hold. The presentation will last no more than 30 minutes and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Dr. Seuss Night Family Night Fun
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Dr. Seuss event.
School Make Up Calendar
Due to the weather related school closures we had earlier in the year, the school district has come up with the following calendar to make up missed instructional time.
We kindly request that students be picked up in a timely manner.
Spring Recess
Spring Break begins:
Friday, April 19th
with students returning to school on:
Monday, April 29th.
We wish everyone a safe and restful break!
Career Showcase Event on May 8
Attention Families:
Do you have a career, talent, or skill you could share with our Grewenow students? We plan to give students an opportunity to explore careers, talents, skills to open new interests for them. On Wednesday, May 8 from 8:30 - 10:30, students will be able to attend three 30 minute workshops, and would love to have you be a part of that day by sharing your knowledge, leading a session(s), or helping students transition to the activities! Our goal is to provide 20 different activities.
If you are interested in helping our students grow in their interests, please print and complete the form below, a KUSD Background Check form (attached), and return it to Grewenow by Wednesday, April 17th. If you have any more questions, please call the Grewenow Elementary Office at 262-359-6362.
General Announcements
Nutritious Snack
Our daily fresh fruits and vegetables program has concluded for the year. Therefore, we are encouraging families to pack a nutritious snack item for their child to enjoy before or after their designated lunch period. Each classroom determines the time of their students' snacks.
Kenosha Kingfish Reading Log
If your child turned in their Kenosha Kingfish Reading Log, an order form to order extra tickets came home with your child. If you are planning on ordering extra tickets, please complete the order form and return to school with payment no later than April 5th.
Grewenow Expo is Almost here!
Morning Power Up Group- May 7th
This event is designed for parents/guardians to engage in fun and interactive math and science activities with their children.
*K-grade 3 students only*

Open to Special Needs Students between 4-18yrs. of age, or up to 22 if still on school.
