Eagles Kingdom,
A new year has started and 2022 will be an incredible part of our story. Please read through this newsletter and find out how YOU can get involved with our Eagles Football Program.
Our 2022 game schedule is posted below along with our off-season schedule. All are highly encouraged to attend as many off-season events as possible (this includes our upcoming freshmen). Continue to lead and inspire those who look up to you. Do the little things. Be in class on time. Finish up this semester strong. Offer a ride to practice for those who can't drive yet. Be a Teammate. Be a Friend. Be Uncommon.

More Schedule Information
Please note all levels are subject to changes in the schedule. We will make everyone aware if any changes are made.
The Student Athlete
As the first semester comes to a close remember you are a STUDENT athlete. The coaching staff is here for you if you need any help in your classes or a quiet place to study as finals approach. I have linked a finals schedule here for your convenience. In addition, for college-bound athletes, the NCAA has a plethora of information for you to review. If you have questions regarding this information please contact our College and Career Counselor (michellegerringer@wsdr4.org). Below are some recommendations for all students who may need extra help in a particular area.
1. Meet with the teacher before or after school. Even 10 minutes every day adds up to an extra 50 minutes of learning for the student each week. Many times, it is a one-to-one ratio with the teacher during these times.
2. Attend Afterschool Academic Assist in the library from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday.
3. Get a pass to a class you are struggling with and visit Wednesday during the Academic Intervention period.
4. Email your teacher to ask specific questions about assignments that you are struggling to complete.
If you are struggling, PLEASE reach out to Coach McMillen or another coach. We are here to help you and want you to succeed.
Summer Schedule
We are working as a school to finalize Summer Schedules. As soon as we have firm dates/facilities we will make all football families aware.
- There will be three non-contact weeks. We will communicate these out when we know the exact dates.
- As we move towards summer, please be on the lookout for camp, conditioning, team bonding, and other opportunities.
