Dogs

Please remember that dogs are not allowed on the school premises. If walk to collect your children from school and want to bring your dog for exercise, please ensure that they are tied up away from the entrance.

Weather Conditions

Obviously, as we saw yesterday, we are currently in the time where school may be affected by the weather. Heavy snowfall may prevent staff from working on site and this would mean full closure (including for children of critical workers) if we cannot ensure the safety of pupils or workers due to a hazardous environment or a lack of appropriate supervision. If this is the case, we will let you know by text and announcements on local radio as early in the morning as we are able. We hope to not need to close during the day, but if we do then we would greatly appreciate collection of children at your earliest convenience to allow everyone to leave the site safely. Staff will continue to work from home and so remote learning and communication would continue.

Do you have an unused/old laptop to donate?

We are aware that some families are finding it hard to access remote learning due to a lack of devices to share around the family. We have received some queries about donating machines, and we can confirm that we are happy to receive laptops that can be wiped by school and then supplied to families who need them.
