Eric Knopf - Breaking the Rules of Company Culture

What does it look like when we break the rules of company culture? In so many organizations, the culture that is created and exists runs counter to the outcomes that are really desired. Is it time to break some rules to get the place where you work into a flourishing environment that can create a better future? Eric Knopf, known for his avant-garde approach to creating culture in his own business, will share some insights around the themes of inciting creativity, transformational leadership and empowering your team to shape their own culture.

Eric Knopf is a lifelong entrepreneur and startup founder who has helped start or grow over 200 companies and ideas. Most notably, Eric is the co-founder of Webconnex – a Sacramento area tech company that makes powerful software for events and fundraising. To date, Webconnex software has been used to process over $2B in payments and is used by millions of people every month. Eric is passionate about impacting the world through equipping leaders and co-creating with God through entrepreneurship. He is married with two kids, considers himself a closet theologian, and is an adrenaline junkie with his love of motocross, surfing, and skiing.

Dena Davidson - We Can Stop Being Afraid of the Tough Questions

"We have people paralyzed to speak up and talk about the gospel. Why? Because of tough questions they feel like they won't be able to answer like what they believe about gay people or why God sends people to hell. In my work with college students and in apologetics, I’ve found that our posture and approach with people as they ask these tough questions can unlock great conversations and re-frame searching for answers that satisfy the hear and mind. I look forward to sharing what I have discovered with the curious and thoughtful Q Commons gathering."

Dena Davidson has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master’s degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. She serves as the Campus Life Director for Thrive School, a discipleship program for college age students in Sacramento, CA and oversees the Thrive Apologetics Conference. She's married to her favorite person, Cheyne and they are just beginning the adventure of parenting Rylee Grace. Her work involves listening deeply to the tough questions people have about Christianity. Her goal is to bridge the gap between those questions and the God that has the answers.

Table Sponsors Make Q Commons Happen - Interested?

Every local venue for Q Commons has to find their way of funding the event. In Sacramento, that means table sponsorship. You or your organization can sponsor a table for $500 and invite seven people to join you for a great night learning and growing together. Join Jesus Culture, KLOVE, The Masters Program and others in helping make Q Commons possible. We still have tables available for sponsorship, if you're interested, contact Merisa Moy at merisa@actsonline.net.
