During the week of September 20-24, both Northfield and Southwood Jr/Sr Highs celebrated Homecoming 2021.

Northfield celebrated with the theme, "Through the Ages". Monday started with dressing up in PJs like children and we moved to Teen Years, Mid-Life, and Senior Citizens. The week with NHS Blue on Friday. The Student Council also held a pep session on Friday as well as a High School Homecoming dance following the football game.


Walk Into My Future At the end of College Go Week, many elementary students attended the "Walk Into My Future" event at Manchester University. Students participated in hands-on activities focused on college savings and college/career discovery.	Apple Orchard Southwood Kindergarteners explored McClure's Orchard and meet several new animal friends including a horse, goat, goose, bunny, and turkey.	Ag Expo 4th Graders from both Southwood and Sharp Creek gathered at the Wabash Fairgrounds to learn about agriculture in our area. Topics included recycling, erosion, farm equipment, beekeeping, sheep shearing, chickens, and more!

Lighthouse Mission Cake & Icing Donations

Northfield, Sharp Creek, and Metro North are collecting cake mixes and icing for Lighthouse Mission to use in Thanksgiving Baskets as a special treat for families in need. The goal among the three schools is 500 mixes and icing tubs. Please help us reach this goal by bringing any amount of cake mixes and icing tubs to any of the three schools by Friday, October 8.
