stay connected with what we are working on in class...
Are you looking to see what your child is doing each day in class or what types of rigorous assignments they are working on?
Please visit our Google Classroom often. Your child will sign-in through their Cloud and click on the Google Classroom Icon.
We use Google Classroom almost daily. This is where I post assignments for students to work on whole group, independently and with partners. There are several times that the students are unable to complete the assignment entirely, due to time. We encourage the students to take responsibility for their learning by completing unfinished work at home . This is a great opportunity for your child to share their learning with you. Our unit seatwork covers most standards being taught in class and continues to spiral them throughout the year.
Class Instagram: If you would like to follow our classroom Instagram, please email me your username.
Legoland Reminders for Chaperones
On Friday 2/3, please meet us in class when the bell rings. Then, I'll give you tickets for you and your group, a parking pass and student lunches to carry. (Please bring a backpack). I'll also inform you of what time our group is taking the simple machines class.
Once at Legoland, you and your group can roam around, hang out and have fun. Just please be on time to our simple machines class (TBA), and be on time to meet at the end of the day. Also, I know the kids will be begging you, but please, pretty please do not purchase food or souvenirs for your group. Our district has a wellness policy and we can only give them food a couple times a year. We've already planned these times for our class!
Valentine's Day Exchange
If you would like to participate in our class exchange, attached is the class list of names. If you participate, please make sure to make a Valentine for each student. We will be exchanging on February 14th. This will be an exchange, not a classroom party.
