Present Day Culture
The national holiday is National day, which started on July 23, 1952. Though the official language is Arabic, most people in educated classes can also speak English and French.Egypt has a thriving film industry and it has the most developed press in the Arab world. In Egypt, family integrity matters a lot and the head of the family takes the entire responsibility to run the family in proper manner and with great focus on behavior. Ramadan is a holy month for Egyptians and during this month people greet each other, they celebrate this month with friends and relatives. During this month Egyptians stay awake at night and spend time in prayer and spiritual activities. The Egyptians breakfast is primarily beans, eggs, sometimes bean cakes. Their lunch consisted of a lot of starchy foods, it was very large. Their dinner was lighter, they ate leftovers, and drink a British Style tea.

Economy
Egypt's economy is dominated by its services industry, which generates some 46% of the country's income. Roughly 15% comes from agriculture, and 39% comes from industry, which includes the production of textiles, food, cement, and metals. Approximately 29% of the workforce is engaged in agriculture. Egypt's agricultural products include cotton, rice, wheat, beans, corn, and vegetables. Egypt is known worldwide as the home of the Great Sphinx of Giza and the Great pyramid of Giza, 2 of the greatest architectural feats of ancient world, each of which served as tombs for pharoahs.
Education
Education in Egypt is free and compulsory for children ages 6-14.There are 12 universities in Egypt, the oldest being Al-Azhar in Cairo .Egypt also has several institutes for arts and music.
The socio - economic status of the people of Egypt is reflected in the education system which is backed by a firm belief that education is extremely official for the national development of the country.Egypt education system follows a 6+3+3 format .The categorism consists of 6 years of primary education then , 3 years of secondary education and 3 years of senior secondary education

The plants consisted of are date palms, sycamore, carob, acacia, mimosas,myrtles, and cypress.Some of Egypt's animals are Jackals, Hyenas, the desert fox, Boar, gazelles, Lizards, Asps, Vipers, Crocodiles, Hippos, Sun-birds, Egrets, Vultures, hawks, Kites, and Scorpions.
Medicine/ Health Care
The ministry of health wants to improve the overall health of Egypt's population have cleared the country of Cholera, Malaria, and Smallpox. Bilharzia still effects egypt. Infant mortality rate is 21 deaths foe every 1000 live births.The average lifespan for men is 71 years, for women it is 76 years.
