All About the Tropical Rainforest Biome
The tropical rainforest biome is extremely wet. It rains a ton there hence the name rainforest. The rainforest gets at least 4in a month. That's over 48in of rain a year! The temperature is an average of 77 degrees Fahrenheit. It never gets below 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The rainforest biome stretches 15-20 degrees north and south of the equator. It is found in the Amazon River basin, Africa, and Indo-Malaysia. Some of the vegetation includes Bengal bamboo, the coconut tree, durian, jambu, strangler figs, and the kapok tree. Some of the animals include the Bengal tiger, golden lion, chimpanzee, dawn bat, rhinoceros, king cobra, vampire bat, and so many more
