Leukemia & Lymphoma Fundraiser
By collections donations, LLS is able to find effective cancer therapies that, over the last 50 years, have increased the childhood leukemia survival rate from 3% to 90%. LLS also provides financial support to families affected by blood cancer to help combat the high cost of cancer care.
Between March 19-29, students can host their own online fundraising pages or collect cash in the fundraising boxes that were sent home. Click here to go to our district's fundraising page. This is also where you can set up a fundraising page for your child.
As a district, we can be heroes for kids battling childhood cancer!
Color Run Fundraising has BEGUN!!
Students can begin fundraising for the Color Run!! Students who raise $30 are registered for the event, and each additional $30 allows others to register for the event. If a student raises $90, they can form a "Color Club" and invite 2 more people to attend the Color Run with them. Kids can add people to their "Color Club" as they raise $30 increments.
Also, as the students receive donations, they are eligible to receive "Splat Charms to add to their lanyards." Have your child take any next level coupons to their teachers to receive their additional charms.
Donation packets are DUE Tuesday, April 3. Donation envelopes can be turned into the front office. Please encourage your child to continue collecting donations until April 3.
The Color Run is on Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 am. Fun for the whole family!
Counseling Corner
Parenting is hard work and even harder when it is done alone or in isolation. Those who are most able to ride out storms and rough waters seek out support from others. When you’re feeling supported and secure, you are better able to care for yourself and, in turn, your child.
