October 30, 2020

Daylight Saving Time Ends

Sunday, November 1st is the end of Daylight Saving Time. Don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour; fall back.

No School on Monday, November 9th

Monday, November 9th is a Teacher Workday. There is no school for students.

Bridgewater Spirit Gear

The Bridgewater Booster Club (BBC) has put together an online store through Larson's for BW Spirit Gear. The items, with the exception of the masks, are the same as last year. Order deadline is November 1st. Ordering information is attached (all orders are online). You may have seen this on Facebook or sent from your child's teacher.

When items are delivered to the school, the office will distribute them to students. Larson's does a great job labeling items in a sealed package, so it is easy to handout. If you want an item to be a gift, just call the office after they you place your order. We will keep a list of these orders in the office and call you when the order comes in to schedule a time for pickup.

Resources from Phy Ed

Below are a couple of resources that you might find helpful for your child or your family.

Covid Testing Sites

Below is some information on local Covid testing sites just in case...

Morning Drop Off

Overall, morning drop off is going well. It would help if we could unload 8-10 cars at a time. You don't need to wait until you get up to the front door to let your child out, especially when they are older students. Pay attention, stay in line and make sure you are at BW before 8:16 so that your child will be on time. If you pull into the parking lot after 8:23, your child will be late for class. Again, most things have gone very well, and I appreciate your help!!

Afternoon Pick Up

Now that the roundabout is open, there are no restrictions on what time you may arrive in the afternoon. My request for after 3:00 is no longer needed since the busses will use the roundabout. Thank you so much for your patience!!

Thank you to all of the families who use our buses! This process works very well in the morning and afternoon, especially when the weather is nice outside!

Thank you to our drivers who transport the students safely to school and home every day! We have a wonderful group of drivers this year, and I enjoy working with them! We will be sending them a care basket this year since we are not able to serve breakfast to the crew this year.

Winter Wear

It is that time of year again to bring out the warm winter wear. It is essential that students wear warm clothing with the colder temps in this early surprise winter. Please make sure to label outwear just in case they get lost. A winter jacket, hat, mittens/gloves, boots, and snow pants are needed for each student.

Picture Retake Day

Wednesday, Nov. 11th is Picture Retake Day in case your child was absent and missed Picture Day. I will send out the online link as soon as I receive it.
