Whiteley Wildcat Update
May 22, 2020
I cannot believe that we are at the end of the school year! I don’t think any of us expected that when we said goodbye to our students on Friday, March 13th, that it would be the last day together for the school year. These past two months have been difficult, but our staff and families have made the best of a very difficult situation. Thank you for your support and being an amazing Whiteley Community!
CHROMEBOOKS
Students will be keeping their Chromebooks over the summer. The district will make available online resources throughout the summer if families wish to take advantage of those resources.
6th GRADE STUDENTS HEADED TO PLUM GROVE
The staff at Plum Grove Junior High would like to share their parent orientation information. We know how excited our 6th grade students are to start junior high, and how disappointed they were that they were unable to have their orientation in the spring. The junior high has made information available to our 6th grade students.
Registration for 2020-2021
May is here, which means that we are also looking ahead to next school year. If you haven’t registered for school next year, please take a moment to register. You can access the registration procedures at our district website for both new families and exiting families.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The Palatine Library will be hosting their summer reading program. The sign-up starts June 1st and curbside pick-up starts June 2nd. Here is the link for the library https://palatinelibrary.org/digdeeper
