On Thursday, December 23rd, LVMS will operate under an Early Dismissal schedule. We hope that everyone is able to have a safe and relaxing Winter Break. Please spend some time recharging for 2022!

Athletics

Boys Basketball opened their season with a victory at home vs. Black River Middle School with a strong 50 - 26 victory.


Girls Basketball is currently 1 - 1 with a strong road victory over Bernardsville 49 - 23.


Congrats to both teams on all of their hard work so far! Both teams will be back in action on Monday, December 20th . The Girls will have their first home game vs. Black River Middle School. For more information check out the full schedules below.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, STUDENT SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

Don't Forget! Spirit Points will be earned by each homeroom's participation in special events and spirit days held throughout the school year. At the end of the year, there will be ONE Grand Prize Winner and additional prizes for Second and Third place.

LVMS Coats for Kids Continues!

**FINAL DAY - MONDAY, DECEMBER 20TH**


  • Please donate gently used coats, sweaters, hoodies, or sweatshirts!
  • All donations can be brought to the donation box found in the front vestibule.
  • All items should be in usable condition

Health and Safety

Holiday Travel: Per our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Turnamian - all are asked to adhere to CDC guidance, however as a school, we do not enforce CDC guidelines; we will not exclude students based on travel quarantine recommendations.


There are no domestic travel quarantine recommendations at this time. CDC Domestic Travel Guidelines (updated 11/12/2021)


International travel requires testing for leaving/returning to the U.S., and quarantines for non vaccinated travelers. CDC International Travel Guidelines (updated 12/10/2021)


COVID Activity Index Level (CALI) - As of 12/10/2021 the district received notification that our region’s CALI score transitioned to High (Orange).


Close Contact / Quarantine Update: All current close contact cases may now follow a reduced exclusion period of 10 days (or 7 days with a negative PCR test result collected between the 5th and 7th day). The Washington Township Schools will move to following these procedures effective immediately. Please consult the CDC Guidelines for additional information (updated 12/15/2021).
