Celebrating the Class of 2020

Congratulations to Lockport High School's Class of 2020.

Although the traditional ceremony at Artpark will not take place due to COVID-19, the Class of 2020 will be recognized for their achievements in other ways. Please see below for further details.

Graduation Parade June 20, 2020

A graduation parade is scheduled for June 20th beginning at the Kenan Arena, where each senior will receive a sign with their name on it to place in their window, and ending at Lockport High School, where cars will proceed through stations identified by tables, balloons, and staff. Graduates will receive their diploma and appropriate awards. In addition they will receive a luminaire to be placed on the porches or in the driveways of their homes and lit at 9:30pm to indicate to neighbors and the community the home of a proud Lockport graduate. The stage procession will be live-streaming for additional family and friends to enjoy off campus or at home.

Prerecorded Graduation Program June 27, 2020

A prerecorded graduation program is scheduled for June 27th. Speeches will be delivered by Board of Education President John Linderman, Superintendent Michelle Bradley, Principal Dawn Wylke, Keynote Speaker Keah Brown, Class Valedictorian Jeremy Stoddard, Class Salutatorian Katherine Miner, and Co-Class Presidents Emma Anderson and Alyssa Edbauer. A slideshow of all 2020 graduates and footage from the graduation parade will be sent to students, parents, and staff and will be available on the Class of 2020 website. The slideshow will be aired on LCTV several times between June 27th and June 30th.
