Welcome Back My Most Amazing Artists! We have been busy creating, learning, and exploring in the art studio! Kindergartners focused on learning different types of lines and made a Line Hat! So fun! First and Second graders created beautiful symmetrical butterflies for our front hallway display and focused on BELIEVING in ourselves! Older students created a sketchbook to use in the art studio for the entire year! Next up for all students… We are celebrating International Dot Day on September 15th! PE
Welcome Back to the gym, Tigers! Our new PE staff has been working on TEAMWORK with our students in the gym this month. We have loved watching our students work together to accomplish their goals in our Hula Hut Relays. Great job, Tigers!!!
Library
This month in the library students will be learning how to search the
library catalog (Koha) to find books they are interested in reading. Students can search by title, author, or subject to see what is available or already checked out. In addition to the library catalog, the Koha web page also has links to our elementary library resources for research and more.
ESL
Wonderopolis is an awesome way for all students to practice their language, imagine, and think creatively. There is a new “wonder” everyday!

Education Go Get It Week highlights the importance of having a postsecondary plan. Plano ISD will celebrate Education: Go Get It Week from September 19-24 as a way of providing all students with information about higher education, workforce and military options after high school.
