Weekly Message:

Good afternoon!

We are so excited to see you and your children on Monday night at our Back to School Celebration. We are definitely excited to have our champions, your children, back at school. Without question, we can't wait to see their smiling faces come back through our doors again.

Please take a moment and read through your weekly updates below to help you prepare for the 2019-20 School Year.

Staffing Updates:

a) Update: Carla Johnson-Health Aide:

Her hours will be here daily from 9am to 3:30pm.

b) Fast ForWord Aide (3 hours per day):

c) 3 Hour Evening Custodian (4-7pm):

Angie Clippinger (She is so awesome she is doing two jobs (Second Grade Teacher and Custodian)

Friends of Wiggin Street Parent Directory

Friends of Wiggins Street Elementary PTO will be creating a school directory. If you would like your contact information to be included, please submit this form by 9/27/19 for EACH STUDENT you have at Wiggin Street Elementary.

*Only fill in what you want included in the directory. Directories will only be e-mailed to families who provide an e-mail address below.


Back to School Celebration:

You and your children are invited to our Back to School Celebration on August 19th from 6-7:30am. Our schedule will be as follows:

6:00-6:15pm-Doors open and parents welcome to drop off supplies in classrooms.

6:15-6:40pm-Parent Meeting in Gym

6:40-7:30pm-Families Visit Classrooms

*Lunch (see prices below) and School Fees ($30/child) can be paid on this night. Both Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Phillips will be available.

New Arrival Time:

Due to transportation reasons, students will begin entering the building at 8:40am.

School Day:


All Student Medications:

Need to be authorized by a Medical Doctor and registered in our Main Office.

All Custody Papers:

A copy needs to be on file in our office.

First Three Days of Kindergarten:

All students will be reporting directly to the cafeteria to meet up with their classroom teachers. From the cafeteria, the classroom teachers will escort them down to the playground and later to the classrooms.
