Hinduism
Hinduism is a religion in India founded in 1500 BC by the Aryans. Hinduism is a polytheistic religion which means they believe in multiple gods. They believe that after death you are reborn into a new life. This is called reincarnation. Hindus also believe in karma and the caste system. The caste system ranks you in society. The caste you are in will affect who you marry, where you work, and where you live. The goal of this is to move up castes to reach moksha which is final resting place of the Hindu religion. The way karma works is that if you are good, good things will come back to you and if you are bad, bad things will come back to you. If you are good in your lifetime you will move up a castle after reincarnation bringing you one step closer to moksha. If you were bad you will move down a caste. They also believe in dharma which is the self balancing of all things. Their dharma is their rules to be followed as a Hindu. This is taught to Hindus by elders at a young age.
How the Hindu religion affects their lives.
This religion spread all throughout India and became Indias primary religion. Hindus practice puja, recitations, and metatations. This religion affects the daily life of a Hindu in many ways. Their caste determines their entire life. It makes them marry someone in their caste it determines what job they will work at for the rest of their life and it determines how other people in society treat you. If you are at the top caste you will be treated greatly and well respected. If you are an untouchable and at the bottom of the caste you will be mistreated, in poor working conditions and looked down upon in society. This religion also affects Hindus lives because they have to make sure they have good karma at all times so they can move up a caste and eventually reach moksha.

Confucianism
Confucianism is a religion founded in 600 BC by a man named Confucias. This religion started and spread all throughout China. This religion raised 5-6 million followers. Confucias believed in something called filial piety. Filial piety means filling place or role. His philosophy was that if everyone fulfilled there role in society that society would run smoothly and no crime or rule breaking would take place. The holy books are Lun Yu, Chung Yung, Ta Hsueh, and the Meng Tzu. Confucianism believes in the 5 relationships. They are 1. Ruler and subject. 2. Father and son, 3. Elder and younger brother, 4. Husband and wife, and 5. Friend and friend. These were rules to show who has more power over who. Confucias and his followers in China believed that if all of these steps could be achieved that there would be order and peace to society.
How this religion affects its followers
Confuciasm is a religion that majorly affects the daily lives of its followers in many ways. They have to follow filial piety at all times to ensure that society runs smoothly. This means constantly doing good at all times and never screwing up for the sake of your country and society. They also have to follow the five relations which determines who has power over you and who can tell you what and what not to do. This can impact your life in a huge way because you could be told by your husband to quit your job and become a farmer and then just like that, that is your new profession. This religion affects its followers in a great deal more than any other religion in my opinion.
