Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
Which one can you relate to?
What's A Fixed Mindset?
A fixed mindset is when a person doesn't expand their knowledge by pushing themselves. Instead, they tend to give up or find an excuse to not do something. Fixed mindsets hold a person back from training their brain to become more intelligent.
What's An Example Of A Fixed Mindset?
Fixed Mindset Examples
"I'm not getting graded on this so I'll just write random stuff on the paper and maybe the teacher won’t notice."
"The homework is so boring, I’ll just say I forgot it at home."
Do you say any of these things?
What's A Growth Mindset?
A growth mindset is when someone sees the positive side when something negative happens. Instead of slacking, you work and train your brain. A growth mindset is not when you're afraid to ask someone a question or take up a challenge.
What's An Example Of A Growth Mindset?
Growth Mindset Examples
"I can’t just give up now; I’ve got to learn from my mistakes and practice more to get better."
"Maybe if I try a bit harder and study a little longer, I'll understand this topic better."
Do you have a growth mindset?
