Monday Morning Memo

St. Mary of the Assumption School

February 8, 2021

Note from the Principal

Good morning!

Thank you for a wonderful Catholic Schools Week. We had a great time celebrating with dress down days, visits from the Sisters, Servants of Our Lord and the Virgin of Matara, a wonderful Vocations Mass celebrated by Fr. LaHood, Family Virtual BINGO hosted by the HSA, Mass at the Parish, and finally, our Community Rosary. If you have not yet had a chance to view this beautiful community prayer, you can watch it here:

Mrs. Ruckstuhl and I also held a virtual awards ceremony for those achieving 2nd quarter honors. This can be viewed here:

There is more snow in the forecast this week! Just as a reminder, any additional snow days will be remote learning days for all students with a normal class schedule. Two hour delays will have classes that begin at 10:30 a.m.

Attached to this newsletter is a letter from Kelly Branaman, Secretary for Catholic Schools, with the latest updates on the COVID-19 vaccine and our school. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Have a wonderful week,

Mrs. Lewis
