According to the balanced school calendar, families are reminded that next Wednesday, June 1, there will not be an early release for all students as our high school students will participate in final exams. High schools will provide specific information about schedules for final exams to their families. As a reminder, the district is using contingency days; therefore, the last day of school is Tuesday, June 7.

With about 2-weeks left of school, we just wanted to remind families that attendance is so important for students to learn grade level concepts. Please make sure you are sending them to school for the last 2-weeks unless if they are feeling ill.

We are starting to think about placement of students next year. While we do not take requests for teachers, we do try make the best match so that our students can be successful. Do you need help registering for next school year? Please join us one of these evenings. We will be having an open lab for Online Registration for next school year. Thank you to Zach for being our Watch DOG this past Thursday. Zach has been making it a habit of being a Watch DOG on a monthly basis. We appreciate everything you have done for our school this year. Families looking for fun and enriching activities for their kids during the summer can find a list of local paid summer camps under the district's summer school website. This list offers the contact information for summer camps and programs happening this summer in our community. However, it is not a comprehensive list and is a resource for our families.

Washoe County Library is hosting engaging robotics programs at various branches. LEGO Robotics Club is offered at the Spanish Springs Library on Tuesdays from 4–6 p.m. and at the Incline Village Library on Monday, July 18, and Tuesday, July 19, from 1–3 p.m. registration for these programs is required.
