Function
The function of the reproductive system is to produce new life.
Spermatogenesis
The spermatogenesis process of producing sperm and take place in the testes and epididymis of males.
Oogenesis
The oogenesis process by which the female gametes, or ova, are created.Oogonia divides by mitosis to make more oogonia cells.
Endometriosis
The endometriosis is a condition that involves the abdominal/pelvic cavity with parts of endometrial tissue. For some women it happens after sex and its pain is in the pelvis and lower back. About 10% of the women suffer each year. Their is no cure but some treatment can help with the pain.
Pelvic Inflammatory
The pelvic inflammatory is a disease where the bacteria makes their way up to the vagina and travels the uterine tubes that open the abdominal cavity. Signs and symptoms are painful urination, unusual odor, nausea, vaginal discharge that is yellow or green. About 8% of all women are affected. Treatment options are to take some antibiotics, stay in bed, and drink lots of fluids.
