Subtracting Decimals
Step 1: Write down the two numbers, one under the other, You need to put the decimal point lined up.

Step 3: Then subtract normally, remembering to put the decimal point in the answer.
Adding decimals
Step 1: Write down the numbers, one under the other with the decimal points lined up.
Step 2: Put zeros so that the numbers have the same lenght.
Step 3: Then add using column addition, remembering to put the decimal point in the answer.
Multipying decimals
Step 1: Multiply normally ignoring the decimals.
Step 2: Then put the decimal point in the answer, it will have as many decimal places as the two original numbers combined.
Dividing decimals by decimals
Step 1: Move the decimal places that the outside number has to the inside number.
Step2: Then divide normally as if there were no decimal places.
Step 3: At the end move the decimal to the top (to the answer).
Dividing decimals with whole numbers
Step 1: Only the inside number will have a decimal point so you only put the decimal point up.
Step 2: Then Yo divide normally as if no decimal pint was there.
Step 3: When you have your answer make sure that the decimal point is there.
