Book Fair Next Week

The book fair is open every day from 7:30 - 3:30. Students can go after school to purchase, as long as they are with a parent. Next Wednesday, our class will go to the book fair in the afternoon and have the opportunity to purchase books as well.

**Book Fair Family night is next Tuesday from 6-8 pm**

In Class this Week: Social Studies

This week the students used their Native American Tribe research to put together a project with their groups. They also started working on a letter to the Historical Committee about their tribe's importance.

Weekly Curriculum Update Nov. 11 - 15

  • Math- Estimating Products with larger multiples and beginning 2 digit x 2 digit multiplication.

**Students need to be studying their multiplication facts at home**

  • Writing- Students will go through the writing process to complete a narrative for a major grade.
  • Reading- Students study story elements and conference with the teacher.
  • Science- Heat Energy and Keeping Warm experiment for a major grade.
  • Social Studies-Students will present their Native American Tribe projects for a major grade and will finish their persuasive letter about their tribe.


  • Tuesday: Math Quiz over Topic 6
  • Wednesday: 7's Multiplication Quiz
  • Friday: Spelling Test
