Welcome Back to School!

Welcome back educators! There are so many things happening this school year that you and your district have been planning - sports, academic games, classroom activities, and numerous initiatives. Much of this planning likely started last year and has been ongoing through the summer.

We have been planning at EduPaths, too. This summer we worked with educators around the state to create content in the areas of the performing and visual arts, physical education and health, and world languages and ESL. We are currently wrapping up that process with our content creators. These courses will publish monthly for the next several months.

We have also been working with organizations around the state to create courses for EduPaths. Organizations that published content with us since our last update include Alt+Shift, Genesee ISD, Kalamazoo RESA, MAISA, Michigan Data Hubs (EWIMS) and MISchoolData.

If you have ideas for content you would like to see in EduPaths, reach out to us. Use our Support link and select "Suggest Course Topics."

We announce our newly published courses monthly through social media. Join us through @EduPathsMDE on Twitter and Facebook, and through Google+ at Edu Paths.

The Latest EduPaths Updates

It is always good to get back into the swing with students and staff. We look forward to meeting your learning needs this year. Let us share how we continue to grow...

The number of users and courses completed continues to climb each week. EduPaths is now at more than 11,000 users and has awarded more than 15,500 SCECHs. In addition, users are finding a community of learners through this site and are connecting to the content and to one another in a meaningful way.

In 2017-18 we launched a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and offered the online course 4 times since. This course had live facilitators engaging with users as they made their way through the course, learning about the Technology Integration models and participating in EduPaths courses. A very rigorous 6 weeks, indeed! Over 300 users engaged with us through the MOOC, and 44% successfully completed for 20+ SCECHs.

If it's been a few months since you logged into EduPaths, view our quick video below to get yourself reoriented - Welcome to EduPaths. And, if access to your account is an issue, use this helpful tool - How do I change my password?

EduPaths has 235 published courses. Most of the courses are available for State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs), and we have simplified the application process.
