HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR TALK - Mr. Charles Middleburg

Tuesday, April 26th, 1:45-2:45pm

Stoy School Library or ART Room

We are reading the book, Number the Stars, a story of two girls during the time of Nazi occupation of Denmark. It is a story of two friends and how one family helped another during this terrible time in history. Mr. Charles Middleburg is a survivor of the Holocaust. He is coming to share his story with our class. He visited my classroom two years ago and his story is amazing. It is a life-changing opportunity. He has graciously allowed me to invite a few parents to hear his story. We have space for approximately 15 parents to attend. Please RSVP by April 8 if you are interested. If I have more than 15 parents, I will put names into a lottery.

RSVPs are enabled for this event.

Apple Store Field Trip - May 4 (9:30 - 12)

The Apple Store does Field Trips! We will be visiting the Apple Store on May 4th to learn more about using iMovie and other ways to share information. Each student will get a T-shirt and work in a small group with an Apple expert. The cost will be $5 per students since we have to pay for the bus to take us there. I will send home forms as we get closer to the date. (Sorry, this trip is for students only.)
