Alumni Happenings
I hope this newsletter finds you healthy, safe, and trying to cope with this shelter-in-place as best as you can. Please know that we continue to think and pray for you. I wanted to share a quote with the intent of trying to provide some comfort during these unprecedented times. For those of you old enough to remember Mr. Rogers (and for those who aren't, check out the feel-good movie with Tom Hanks), I think he said it best. "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." Out of the darkness right now, we continue to see the helpers risking their lives everyday. From healthcare workers, especially those working on the front line, to first responders. From law enforcement to delivery drivers. From grocery store workers to all restaurants trying to stay open to feed us. We are so very thankful and appreciate ALL essential workers. If you are an essential worker or if you know an essential worker who is an alumni, we would love to hear from you so we can honor you. Please submit an email with a picture/message describing your occupation and anything else you would like to include to: Lhirsch@marian.com.
