Brewster Weekly
1.22.21
We are here to do good things for our students, our coworkers, and our community.
We represent qualities such as caring, sharing, connection, integrity, and excellence.
Our culture mirrors those attributes. Let’s continue to make our school the best place to work and learn where everyone is inspired to be the best they can be. What we do, we do well.
Let’s keep the courage to shape a better future for our students.
Invitation for Creativity!
Hey Brewster Bulldogs-Check this out!!
The Michigan Department of Transportation is asking for your help to name a snowplow. You don't get to own it, but it'll let you claim a little piece for yourself mentally when you point with pride to Big Bertha ... or whatever they choose.
Officials say they have more than 300 plows are are looking for fun, unique and creative names for the snowplows that can be tracked on the state's website. SUBMIT YOUR SUGGESTION HERE
There are some guidelines like-- the suggestions have to be family friendly, cannot include famous, character or brand names and must be submitted through the state's website. MDOT says everyone is welcome to participate, but school and community groups are encouraged to submit ideas.

Mrs. Dessy's Return to Learn Hybrid Schedule Tips
Each day your child is attending school, the daily screener needs to be completed before your child arrives at school. We greatly appreciate your proactive planning to have this done during your morning preparations for attending school. If your child is exhibiting symptoms, we ask that you complete the screener appropriately and follow up with a phone call to the school for support.
We will follow up on any illness and ask that you work with us to meet the needs of our community and school family by keeping kids home when they are ill. When calling the attendance line, please be specific on symptoms and/or diagnosed illness and note the day symptoms began. Our office or district team will follow up as necessary.
Our staff will continue to do all we can to keep kids and colleagues safe, but we need our community to remain diligent and help us to stay healthy and open for our kids. We appreciate your support.
