eLearning Day Objectives

Introduction

Begin here!! Please follow the lesson and buttons in the exact order. By doing so, you won't be able to accidentally miss any lesson and/or work.

READING STATIONS (90 minutes total)

Five stations, 18 minutes work time per station

Word Work Phonics Station Objectives:

Students will identify when to use the hard and soft c and g sounds in words.

Students will learn the sound differences in ar, er, ir and ur in words.

Word Work Station Instructions

First watch these YouTube videos on the hard and soft sounds of c and g. Once you have viewed the videos, you will find the paper for this activity in your packet to complete and return to school.

Instruction

First grade eLearning day Word Work Phonics Station

Activities

Assessment (approximately 5 minutes)

Using the words at the bottom of the paper, write each word under its correct sound heading. Make sure that you draw a line through the word when you have written it on your paper.


Be sure to return this paper to school in your eLearning envelope by Monday, May 23rd.
