Attendance Matters

Attendance matters every single day!

Please be reminded that:

· Attendance will be taken every day by each student’s assigned teachers. All students must adhere to their Class Schedule daily.

· Students who are scheduled to be on campus will be marked absent if they are not physically present. If non-virtual students (Cohorts A and B) sign on virtually instead, they will be marked absent because they should be physically present.

· Virtual students who sign on 30 minutes after the class has begun will be marked absent.

· The school will continue to follow the mandated South Carolina School Compulsory Attendance Laws, meaning students could face truancy penalties if they fail to follow the state’s attendance guidelines.

Student Activities

2021 Marching Band Spring Camp

The ECHS No Half Steppin' Band is taking the first step to an amazing 2021 comeback season! We will be hosting Spring Camp for all students - instrumentalists, drumline, Lady Emeralds dance team, and the Shamrock Colorguard - May 24th-28th. This will be capped by a Friday evening parent meeting and the 2021 premiere performance of the No Half Steppin' Band!!! If your student is interested in joining the band in any capacity, please contact Band Director Mr. Fowler at taylor.fowler@richlandone.org.

ECHS Orchestra!

ECHS Orchestra students have been working hard preparing for their virtual Spring Concert on Thursday May 13. The concert will be shared virtually via Microsoft Teams and YouTube following the performance. On March 31, they recorded half of that concert program for inclusion in the Richland One virtual Academic All-Stars recognition program. See the performances on YouTube here:
