Class of 2023 Diploma Information
Dear Senior Parents:
Please use the link below to type the name you wish to be placed on your child's high school diploma. Student name must be their LEGAL name, no nicknames. It can include middle name, middle initial or be left out completely. Most students choose to spell it out. Please use upper and lower (A, a) case letters appropriately as this is how it will be printed. Failure to respond will result in your child's name to be printed how it is in PowerSchool. Please reach out to your child’s counselor with any questions.

Class of 2023 Cap and Gown Ordering
Seniors! Ordering a cap and gown is an important part of taking place in the graduation ceremony. The link below is a direct link to the standard cap and gown package. If you would like to order additional senior gear from Josten’s, please feel free to visit their site at Jostens.com for a list of options. Orders for cap and gowns need to be in by February of 2023.
Additionally, students are not allowed to have decorated caps for the graduation ceremony. Some students like to have a decorated cap for the senior walk. Students who like to do this have done one of two things:
- Ordered an extra cap so they could decorate that one
- Decorated a piece of poster board or cardboard and taped it to their cap for the walk and could remove it for the ceremony.

Canvas - Parent Access
Dear Fraser Families,
Today we are excited to be launching parent access in Canvas, our learning management system.
With your parent account, you will be able to easily view the assignments and gradebook for students in grades 7-12. Elementary parents will be able to view assignments and coursework.
Please click here for detailed instructions on how to create your parent account. You will need to use a web browser, and your student will need to be logged in to their Canvas account on a separate device in order to generate the required pairing code.
After School
Students are expected to leave FHS by 2:30pm each day unless they have an after school or extracurricular activity that starts directly after school. The Media Center will be open until 3:30pm each day for students who have school work to complete. Please make arrangements to pick up your student by 3:30pm each day.
Students may not wait after school for evening activities, games or practices. Credit recovery starts at 2:30pm, if students are not in the class by 2:30pm they will not be allowed to enter.

New Automotive Program - Drive One
Dear Fraser Families,
We are thrilled to announce that we have acquired an Automotive Service and Performance program called Drive One! While this program is not available for our students to enroll in for this school year, we are beginning to determine who might be interested in joining the program next year.
Drive One is housed in a separate Fraser Public Schools building in Roseville, just down the street from Mark Twain Elementary.
The Drive One Team specializes in classic car restoration and auto racing on circle track and at the drag strip. For more than 50 years, this team of professionals has been leading students while building custom vehicles that they have used to compete in Autorama, the world’s most prestigious custom car event.
In fact, at the upcoming Autorama next March, the Drive One staff will be honored with a huge display including six cars that they’ve built during the past 50 years. Two of those cars are currently being built at Drive One and your student can help be a part of that team on Tuesday and Thursday evenings!
Attached you will find a schedule of detailed events that will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings that ANY Fraser student currently enrolled in grades 8-12 can attend. This is the ideal way for students to be introduced to this incredible automotive program while they help build the ‘69 Lemans Convertible and ‘62 Valiant project cars!
If your student would like to explore the possibility of getting involved in automotive training, please stop by at any of the Tuesday or Thursday events detailed on the attached document. We hope to see you there!
You can learn more about this program at www.driveone.net. We will be sharing more about this new program throughout the school year.
Thank you,
Kristin Ledford
