Dear Preschool Families,


This is our last regular newsletter for this school year. We will be doing a special "graduation" newsletter in May. Our year will be coming to an end in six short school weeks. Thank you for trusting us with your children and supporting us with your time and financial resources.


Many thanks to our amazing Staff who came to work each and every day with joy in their hearts and smiles/laughter to teach and love your children. Many of our Staff have faced challenging health issues concerning children, spouses, and extended family during the school year, and yet their dedication and enthusiasm never wavered. Some truly incredible educators have blessed your children.


Please enjoy a joy-filled and restful Spring Break and Easter holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back to Unity Preschool soon.

Color Day and Spirit Day

Color Day and Spirit Day

Our last Spirit Day is Thursday, April 20 - EARTH DAY. We will be enjoying some fun activities with your children reminding them of God's great gift of creation and how we can help take care of our earth.

Volunteer Spotlight - Ms. Carol

Volunteer Spotlight - Ms. Carol

Ms. Carol is one of our special VIPs (Volunteers Impacting Preschool). Ms. Carol is a weekly classroom helper who assists with Center Time in our Owl class on Mondays. Ms. Carol is a Unity member and relocated to Fort Mill last year with her husband to be near her children and grandchildren. Ms. Carol is a retired preschool/elementary/special education teacher with over 30 years of experience and is excited to be back in the classroom. She loves spending time with family, walking, and reading. We are thrilled to have Ms. Carol helping us in our classroom.

Spring Pictures - Tuesday, April 18th

Jennifer Cattarin will be taking our pictures on TUESDAY, April 18th. We will take individual pictures, sibling pictures (Unity students), and class pictures. The pictures are taken outside in our pretty courtyard. We will let you know via SeeSaw if we have to postpone due to weather.

Family Picnic - May 3 and 4

With the nicer weather we thought it would be fun to host another Family Picnic for all of our classes. You (mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, friends) are invited to bring a picnic lunch and a blanket to preschool and we will enjoy lunch together in our Park. Our families of Threes are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 3 at 11:15 and our families of Twos and Fours are invited to join us on Thursday, May 4 at 11:15. If you are a working parent and cannot attend, simply let us know. You can send a lunch with your child and we will arrange a picnic partner for your child.

We are thrilled to host Graduation for our Four's classes in our Sanctuary for family and friends of our graduates. Graduation will be Wednesday, May 17 at 11:00. We will be sending more information to the Fours in the coming weeks.

Thank You

Thank you so much for your generous donations of baby wipes and clorox wipes. Our storage shelves are full once again and this will take us through the end of the year. We are so appreciative.
Holy Week at Unity

Holy Week at Unity

As we continue through the Season of Lent, we are reminded that the destination of our Lenten Journey is the cross and empty tomb. We wanted to share Unity's plans for Holy Week with you so that you can begin your own planning. You are invited to join us for:

  • Palm Sunday, April 2nd – Worship in the sanctuary @ 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with palm procession. Both services will be livestreamed.
  • Maundy Thursday, April 6th – Worship with communion in the sanctuary @ 6:30 p.m.
  • Good Friday, April 7th – Good Friday interactive and reflective joint worship service with Grace, Riverview Presbyterian, Doby’s Bridge, and Community Presbyterian Churches in the Unity sanctuary @ 12:00 Noon.
  • Easter Sunday, April 9th – Live on the Lawn Worship @ 7:00 a.m. and Worship in the sanctuary at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with butterfly release following the 11:00 a.m. service. The sanctuary services will be livestreamed.

*Tuition Withdrawal: Our next tuition withdrawal is April 3. Tuition will be paid in full for the year with your April payment for most of our families because of your first payment in August.
