Worthington Christian Church, 8145 N. High St. Worthington
This optional inspirational evening, sponsored by the WKHS Activity Club, celebrates the senior class by featuring performances and artwork by the students along with a keynote speaker and chosen parent speaker. Guests will also enjoy a "Then and Now" slide show of baby pictures and current senior pictures. Will you be able to guess who is who? There will be a reception following the program. All family and friends are welcome.
GRADUATION SEATING, ACCESSIBILITY AND MOBILITY CONCERNS
If you will have a guest with mobility concerns:
- There is a drop-off area accessed from High Street that is more easily entered if you are north-bound. This entrance door is also the closest to the elevator and escalators that will take guests to the Battelle Grand on the 3rd Floor.
- In the hall, there will be certain rows of seats on the main floor with the end chair missing. Those empty spaces are designated for guests in wheelchairs. Please respect the reserved seat signage in place for families requesting wheelchair space.
- Please email Mrs. Dominach at jdominach@wscloud.org if you have family members that will require space for a wheelchair or seating on the floor; she can arrange for reserved floor seating with your family member.
The Greater Columbus Convention Center prohibits balloons of any kind on the premises.
COMMENCEMENT PHOTOS
In order to minimize disruption during the commencement ceremony, we ask guests not to leave their seats to take pictures. The WKHS PTO has hired professional photographers to take a photo of each graduate as they receives the diploma. HR Imaging will upload these photos online via a secure link so each family can view their student’s photo and, if desired, purchase it. A printed proof will also be mailed to each family.
All seniors will be photographed, but the decision to purchase is optional. This is a PTO fundraiser, and we receive a portion of the proceeds to help fund our programs and our scholarship fund. We appreciate your support of this fundraiser for our Parent-Teacher Organization.
POST-COMMENCEMENT ISSUES
Should a problem exist with your diploma, please see Mrs. McDaniel in the Counseling Center as soon as possible. Please make sure your mailing address, email address and cell phone number are listed correctly in Infinite Campus BEFORE graduation. Mrs. McDaniel will be in her office all summer, you may contact her at 614-450-6482.
COMMENCEMENT NON-PARTICIPANTS
Seniors who choose not to participate in Commencement may pick up their diplomas from Mrs. McDaniel in the Counseling Center beginning Monday, May 22, providing all financial obligations have been met. Diplomas will not be granted before Commencement.
