Financial Assistance/Tuition Support for 2019-20
The Aim Higher Foundation provides two types of scholarships for students to attend a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis: the Aim Higher Scholarship and the Catholic Services Appeal Foundation Scholarship. These $1,000 student-based scholarships are awarded to K-8 students from families with financial need. See the Aim Higher flyer in today’s e-Folder for more details. In addition to these scholarships, St. Michael Catholic School/Church will continue to offer tuition assistance to families with a financial need.
The application period for all scholarships and tuition assistance for the 2019-20 academic
year closes February 17, 2019.
The scholarships are available via the TADS financial aid system, the same system we use to determine school-based tuition assistance. Follow the steps listed below to complete the application no later than February 17.
Please note, all families seeking financial assistance for the 2019-20 school year must submit an application to TADS by the February 17 due date. Applications must be submitted on an annual basis, regardless if you received a scholarship or tuition assistance in the past.
1. Visit mytads.com.
2. Under the financial aid assessment link, create a new account or login to an existing one.
3. Begin filling in the application.
4. Near the end, add your child(ren)’s name when it asks if you’d like to be considered for the Aim Higher Foundation scholarship(s).
5. Submit the application.
