What a wonderful start to the school year we have had. The kids have done a wonderful job transitioning back to school.

Preschool-We have made some slight adjustments to drop off and pickup. We are grateful for your flexibility as we manage traffic and focus on student safety.

Grades 1 and 2 Open House-September 14, 2021-5:30-7:30-Virtual Open House

At this point in the school year, we’ve been looking to find the most convenient way for our faculty and staff to share curriculum and other resources with families so they will be in the best position to support their children. Open House is a time to hear and see homeroom teachers, special education teachers, the school nurse, counselor, and administrators to get general information about how the school works.

After looking at several alternatives, we’ve decided that this year’s Fall Open House format will be virtual presentations by classroom teachers and support staff. You will be able to access all staff over the course of the Open House hours via Google Meet or Zoom. Links will be provided. If you would like to schedule a time to meet in person, please email the staff member.

We look forward to having all of you visit and connect virtually with your child’s staff. You will be receiving information from the Dewing School regarding Open House information.

Lunch Monitors We are in need of lunch monitors! If you are interested in working one day, two days or more, please contact Joy Wallace at jwallace@tewksbury.k12.ma.us.

Drop off Reminders: As a reminder, for those parents/guardians arriving for drop off after 8 am (K-2), you cannot turn left into the parking lot. This causes a very large traffic and safety issue and we do our best to make things run as smoothly as possible given the many cars entering and exiting our school.
