ABOUT KIDSCAN
Who we are.
KidsCan is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. We help tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand.
We believe education is a child’s ticket out of poverty, and gives them the opportunity for a better future.
With these essentials, kids can participate in learning and have the opportunity for a better future.
Head lice effects everyone, and we have packs available free of charge - all you need to do is come in and ask.
If you can't get to school, send the office a message and a kit can be sent home with your child.
All thanks to KidsCan. Some of our students have also received a warm coat. Sizes available were limited - but we are working on that. Let's see how that goes!!
Next week we will have three teams entering this competition.
Notices should have been taken home today.
We had a great team of runners represent our school this week at the Kawerau Cluster Cross Country race at South School.
Thanks to the whānau who came to support our runners, and congratulations to our runners on their successes, attitude and behaviour on the day.
We will be sending a team through to the EBOP Cross Country next month.
