THANK YOU!!!

I would like to thank all of you for supporting our 4th annual Trivia Night! We made enough money to purchase 30 wireless mouses for our kindergarten classrooms and a total of 21 chromebooks to be used in our first and second grade classrooms! We couldn't have done it without your support, so thank you again.

Character Words of the Month: Service & Leadership

Service is doing something for or helping someone to do something. Leadership is motivating a group of people to act.

At Windsor Elementary, we encourage our students to be both leaders and of service to others. We frequently do service learning projects and the goal of these is to spark an interest in helping others.

Check the Windsor Elementary website for articles on service and leadership. Below is a link to an article that gives ten ways to help children become leaders.

The video below describes how this little boy came up with the idea for a "Buddy Bench", just like we have at Windsor Elementary!
