A $500 scholarship is available for seniors, the deadline to apply is October 8, 2022.
Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in answer to the following question:

February 2023 Deadlines
The National Wild Turkey Federation's Dr. James Earl Kennamer Scholarship Program Sponsored by Mossy Oak
The NWTF is now accepting scholarship applications. To apply online visit https://your.nwtf.org/scholarships/
Applications will be accepted until February 1, 2023.
Purpose:
The purpose of the NWTF Dr. James Earl Kennamer Academic Scholarship Program is to recognize and reward an NWTF member, who is currently a senior in high school, for their outstanding academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership roles. The National Scholarship Winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship sponsored by Mossy Oak.

The Merit Shop Training and Research Center Scholarships
The Merit Shop Training and Research Center was established several years ago, by Associated Builders & Contractors, Keystone Chapter (ABC Keystone) as a non-profit fund whose mission is to provide financial assistance to students who have chosen construction-related career paths. The Center is funded by members of the Chapter, who have taken upon themselves the responsibility of being proactive in assisting men and women in their preparation for this industry.

March 2023 Deadlines
Hermine Solt Student Scholarship
This is a $500 scholarship that was established in 1992 for the purpose of aiding students in Pennsylvania to pursue higher education in a business-related field. This scholarship will be given to an eligible senior applicant graduating from a Pennsylvania High School or Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School to be used as either tuition assistance or as a school bookstore credit at any approved two or four-year post-secondary institution, college, or university majoring in the business field. (Examples include but not limited to: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Business Communications, Business Management, Business Communications, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Computer/Technology, or Secretarial/Administrative Assistant)

The PA Media Group – The Patriot-News and PennLive – is accepting applications from high school seniors for 2023 Best & Brightest award.
Applications are due by Monday, March 6, 2023. Students nominate themselves for the award (it is not a scholarship).

Conrad Siegel "Numbers Matter" Community Scholarship Fund
Conrad Siegel has created a new need-based scholarship for graduating seniors from Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Lancaster, Lebanon or York County pursuing math, actuarial science, or finance at a four-year college.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be enrolled full-time as a high school junior in the United States, progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer 2024 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation
- Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor's degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
- Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
- Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
- Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
- Hold a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
- Be a United States citizen

Belco Scholarship Program

Students must be a member of Belco and are required to submit a 300-500 word essay on Financial Wellness. Belco will be awarding a total of three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Chandler Ramsey Scholarship
The Chandler Ramsey Scholarship is presented in memory of Chandler Ramsey, a West Perry High School Student who passed away in a car accident in December 2018. Chandler loved music and was part of the chorus and musicals at West Perry High School. The Scholarship is offered by the West Perry Music Partnership and Danny and Chrissy Brown, Chandler’s parents. It is open to seniors who are participating in any Partnership supported program (e.g., chorus, bands, guard) and who attend West Perry High School, West Perry Cyber School, or Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical School. The Scholarship must be used for secondary education expenses in any course of study.
The Scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.00 and is open to students in all fields of study.
Scholarship applications will be available in the School Guidance Office or by request from the West Perry Music Partnership via email at wpmppresident@gmail.com.
Applications are due to the Guidance Office on March 24, 2023.
Harrisburg Cedarettes #43 Scholarship
This $1000.00 Scholarship Award will be presented to a student interested in a MEDICAL FIELD CAREER, i.e. Nursing, EMT, Med. Asst., Lab Tech, Dental, etc. The award will be given to a twelfth grade student who plans to attend HARRISBURG AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE in the Fall of 2023.

Perry County Old Iron Collectors Scholarship
The Perry County Old Iron Collectors, Inc. (PCOIC) will present a scholarship(s) totaling up to $1,000 to graduating seniors who meet the club’s criteria and plan to enter a field of study related to one of the following:
• Agricultural and Extension Education
• Agricultural Science
• Animal Bioscience
• Environmental Soil Science
• Agronomy
Graduating seniors who reside in the Greenwood School District, Newport School District, Susquenita School District, or West Perry School District are eligible to apply for the PCOIC scholarship.

Penn Cumberland Garden Club Scholarship

Perry County Sportsmen for Youth Scholarship
The applicant must be a senior and must be entering a field of study relating to wildlife management, forestry, conservation, environmental science, or related field.
Paper applications are available in the counseling center.

WPEA SCHOLARSHIP
The West Perry Educational Association is offering a scholarship. The applicant must be a senior at West Perry High School and must be enrolled in a four-year educational program in pursuit of a teaching degree.
Paper copies of the application are available at the counseling center.
Please submit the application, including the essay to Mrs. Barber in the counseling center by April 5, 2023.
HFC/JLC Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established following Jeffery L. Campbell's final Triumph, June 12, 1991at the
age of 29, when he died after a 17-month battle with leukemia. Jeff's parents, brother, wife, and
relatives realized during those 17 months, the important part of healthcare providers play for seriously
ill patients.
Applications are on file in the counseling center for an $8,000 scholarship ($2,000 annually for four
years) for seniors entering a post-secondary school and majoring in the “Medical Field” (broadly
interpreted). The application deadline is April 7, 2023
2023 Road to Safety Scholarship Contest for High School Seniors
Each year, many young lives are drastically changed or cut short by risky behaviors like driving under the influence of alcohol or texting while driving. Motor vehicle crashes involving teenagers are especially heartbreaking, because most of these teen tragedies are fully preventable.
At Metzger Wickersham personal injury law firm, we are committed to promoting education and awareness about safe driving through community outreach.
Metzger Wickersham is now accepting entries for the tenth annual 2023 Road to Safety Scholarship Contest, which encourages young drivers to get involved in spreading the message to keep our roads safe.
Pennsylvania college-bound high school seniors may submit a creative project about the dangers of drunk driving or distracted driving for their chance to win college scholarship money. First, second and third place winners will be selected by our panel of judges and will receive $1,000, $750 and $500 scholarships, respectively.

Penn State Alumni Scholarship
The Perry-Juniata Counties Penn State Alumni Association is offering a Scholarship Award (up to $1000 per award winner) for the 2023 Fall Semester.
Applicants who have been accepted to Penn State and meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. Due to eligibility restrictions, NCAA Athletes are not eligible for this scholarship.

Steven Hile Memorial Leadership Scholarship
Purpose: To provide a one-time scholarship to one (1) deserving female and male from the West Perry High School Senior class who has demonstrated the value of leadership in school, activities, and the community.
Award Components: One (1) $250 scholarship will be awarded to one (1) female and one (1) male selected by the family of Mr. Hile.
Paper copies of the application may be obtained at the Counseling Center - the deadline to apply is April 14, 2023.
Irvin E. Herr Foundation
The Irvin E. Herr Foundation will make scholarships available to qualified seniors graduating from secondary schools in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, and Northumberland Counties.
This is a one (1) year scholarship in an amount not exceeding $2,000 to be applied towards tuition costs for enrollment in an accredited college or university. Any amount awarded will be paid directly to the educational institution.
Completed applications including all other required information (transcripts, essays, etc.) must be postmarked by April 14, 2023. Untimely applications will not be considered.

Cantor & Team Orthodontics Scholarship -Presented in Memory of Jason Frye

Landisburg Lions Club - $500 Community Service Award
The Landisburg Lions Club is happy to announce an annual community
service award. The purpose of this award is to foster the importance of
participating in service throughout one’s life. The club plans to give, at a
minimum, two $500 awards. The awards will be given to two applicants
who meet the following requirements:
1. The student completes and submits this application by April 15th of
the current school year.
2. Student lives within the service area of the Landisburg Lions Club. That includes Elliottsburg
(17024), Landisburg (17040), and Loysville (17047).
3. Students must reside in the West Perry School District.
This award must be used to continue your education at a two-year, four-year, or technical school. The
award will be paid to the recipient at the end of the first college semester after the award committee
receives formal notification of a minimum 2.0 GPA for that first semester.

Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary Healthcare Scholarships
The Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary annually provides scholarship funds to qualified recipients that plan to enter a program as an R.N., L.P.N. Medical Technician, Physical Therapist, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technician, or Radiology Technology. The applicant must be accepted into a school/program to receive a degree or certification in one of the above-approved professions. Students accepted into a Pre-Program will not be eligible.
The recipient will be selected on the basis of financial need, personal commitment, and scholastic record. The deadline for submitting is April 15, 2023.

Pennian Bank Scholarship
• The two, $1000 scholarships need to be either a customer of Pennian Bank or the applicant must have an immediate family member as a customer. There is no restriction on their field of study, as long as they are furthering their education beyond high school.
• The $500 scholarship will be for a student furthering their education in an agricultural-related field. This applicant does not have to be a customer of Pennian Bank.

CAEA 2023 Scholarship Program
The Capital Area Education Association is pleased to announce its 2023 Special Education
Scholarship Program. This year, one scholarship of $500.00 will be given to a qualified applicant.
Two groups of individuals may apply; seniors currently attending a high school in one of the CAIU member districts or paraprofessionals currently working for the CAIU who are volunteer members of the CAEA. Applicants must plan to enroll or be enrolled in a program of study that leads to a degree in Special Education, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Adaptive Physical Education, or School Psychology.
Pick up a paper copy of the application in the Counseling Center. Completed applications are due by April 17, 2023.
2022-2023 CAOLA Student Scholarship
• They will be awarding 3- $1,000 scholarships
• This is for seniors who take part in CAOLA program courses
• Applications will be accepted until April 17, 2023

2023 Gary R. Brown Environmental Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and currently be enrolled in a regionally accredited college oruniversity.
• Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the field of Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.

Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarship Fund
The Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarship Fund is offering College Scholarship Awards for an individual pursuing higher education with preference given to a construction trade related field.
Please stop in the counseling center for a paper copy of the application, the application was also emailed to all students in the Class of 2023.
Deadline to apply is May 12, 2023.
PB&J Scholarship
This annual scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed. With no GPA requirement, students are encouraged to apply as this scholarship is meant to be inclusive.
Eligibility:
- Be a current High School Senior
- Plans on attending a 2 or 4-year college next school year
Up to $1,000 awarded

June 2023 Deadlines
Friends of Colonel Denning State Park Scholarship
The Friends of Col. Denning State Park is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation. The Friends are volunteers who provide their time, services, and support to improving Col. Denning State Park. Every year, Friends volunteers give hundreds of hours of their time to raise funds and complete a wide variety of projects throughout the park.
In order to assist the next generation of Park, Forest and Conservation Management leaders, the Friends of Col. Denning State Park Board of Directors has decided to offer financial assistance to those planning to continue their education in a relevant field of study.
A scholarship of $500.00 will be awarded in the form of a one-time payment. Scholarship awards will be determined by the Friends of Col. Denning State Park Board of Directors.
Eligibility
1. Must be a graduating high school senior in the Big Spring, West Perry, Carlisle, or Shippensburg School Districts in Cumberland or Perry Counties Pennsylvania, with confirmed registration in a College, University, or Technical School.
2. Fields of study to be considered include but are not limited to: Parks and Recreation Management, Forest Management, Conservation Law Enforcement, Conservation Education, Fish and Wildlife Management, and related fields.
3. Must possess a demonstrated interest in the conservation and management of public lands and natural resources for the use of current and future generations of the American public.
4. No candidate shall be denied being a recipient of a scholarship on the basis of race, creed, sex, religion, or national origin.
