Parent/Guardian - Teacher Conferences
Due to COVID-19, this years conferences will be virtual and be conducted via WebEx. The WebEx link that you will need will be available on the main page of the Audubon Website the week we begin conferences.
Conferences are scheduled for the week of October 26th. While the majority of conferences are going to be held the afternoon/evening of October 28 and the full day on the 29th, some teachers have availability earlier in the week as well. So that you can best schedule a time that works for you we are providing an electronic sign-up form for you to choose the best time available. This will also allow you to schedule multiple conferences if you have more than one child at Audubon.
There are conference offerings for all of our grade level teachers along with Specials, Special Education, Mental Health, Teaching and Learning Coach and Mr. Ford. You can choose times to meet with them as well if you would like to have a conversation with them.
School Pictures - October 22nd
You can order photos ahead of time via the electronic portal provided by Lifetouch. The website to order is www.mylifetouch.com and the Picture ID Code is EVT36NGPS.
For our Inspire Online families we have scheduled two times for you to come on Thursday as well for your pictures. The times scheduled will allow for you to come and not cross with other students - making sure our cohorts stay intact. The times for you to come are from 8:00 - 8:30 and then again from 11:10 - 12:00. Teachers know that you may miss some class time by coming to the school. To make sure we limit the amount of people coming at one time we ask that you sign-up for the time you would like to come - click here to sign-up.
Anyone coming from the Inspire Online program would be asked to enter through the outside gymnasium doors on the north side of the gym. If we are having poor weather we will make accommodations to have you enter through the front doors.
Please call our office if you have any questions at 719-328-2600.
Monster Mash Dance and Costumes
Along with the Monster Mash Dance we have also started the tradition of allowing students and staff to dress in school appropriate costumes the day of the event. This year it will be on Wednesday, October 28th (the final day prior to conferences). We certainly encourage everyone to dress up if you would like and enjoy the day. A few special considerations to note as you plan for the day include:
- Cloth facemasks must still be worn with costumes
- Students should not have face paint on with their costumes
- Costumes should not be bloody/gory
- No weapons should come as part of the costume
We look forward to celebrating with our students and community on the 28th and we cannot wait to see those amazing costumes.
