Principal's Message
Dear Royal Families,
Our Socially Distanced Dance was a success! I want to thank our Dance Committee consisting of 6th and 8th graders for their time and effort in making this possible. I also want to celebrate our custodial team who worked tirelessly to make sure our building was ready to go for in person learning this past Wednesday.
If you haven't already, please take a moment to give us feedback through our parent survey. I value your feedback and the information it provides us as we continue to grow and improve.
CMAS: We are still awaiting word for the state to guide us on what tests our students will take this year. You can look at our two plans on our website and we will follow the schedule that allows for the State's decision. We are excited to see our fully Virtual students at Quist on Monday, March 29th at 7:45 am to begin their tests. If you have requested transportation to school on that day, our transportation department will be communicating those details with you. Please contact Mr. Marlatt at kmarlatt@sd27j.net for any questions you may have. To change the opt-in/out status, please contact Ms. Vang at bvang@sd27j.net.
Attendance: Please continue to call in your student's absences. All absences, even absences for remote classes, need to be called in using our attendance line, 303-655-6950. Thank you so much for your help with this.
We appreciate you and thank you for your partnership! We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Children's Hospital Webinar - Protecting our Youth From Suicide
Being a teenager can be hard. The teen years are a time of growth and increasing independence, but they’re also a time of social, emotional and academic pressures, which in turn increase teens’ risk of depression, anxiety and suicide. There is no single profile for a youth at risk. It could be any child. It could be your child.
Being a parent can be hard too. We play a key role in protecting our teens, but we don’t have all the answers. Working together, a group of community parents and adolescent mental health experts from Children’s Hospital Colorado put together tips that parents can use to lower the risks of depression and anxiety and keep kids safe.
Parents must register to attend this free event.

27J Online Academy Applications
During the 2020-21 school-year, COVID-19 forced schools to shut their doors to students all across the world. Globally, over 1.2 billion children were out of the classroom. As a result, education has changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise of online learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.
27J Schools understands that over the course of the past year, some of our students have acquired a preference for online learning over in-person learning and would like to continue along this educational pathway.
In order to meet the needs of every student, 27J Schools has created an Online Academy to best serve the learning needs of students who prefer this mode of education.
If your student(s) is interested in enrolling in our new Online Academy, please take a moment to complete and submit an application. Only completed applications will be considered for enrollment. A separate application must be completed for each student you would like to attend 27J's Online Academy.
