Traffic Concerns

When you are running late and need to come to the front office please DO NOT park in the bus lane before 8:15. We would ask that you park in the parking lot and escort your students in. We still have buses that are dropping off students after 8:00. When cars are parked in the bus lane they have had to wait a while for all of our students to exit the bus or some have gone around the bus which causes concern for student safety.

We have also had quite a few cars double parked on Horne St. as they drop off their kindergarten students. Please consider dropping off your student in the drop off lane on Seventh Street. We have plenty of staff supporting students getting out of cars and helping them get to class. Thank you for your cooperation.

This month our Golden Paw winners are Scarlett Williams, Adriana Herrera, Jazmine Martinez, Roe Glamkoski, Leland Pilapil, and Grayson Denning. Congratulations!

PARENT SURVEY - WE VALUE YOUR FEEDBACK

This year, as part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), we will now be participating in the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. As a parent or guardian, this survey will provide you with the opportunity to share your thoughts on important elements of school effectiveness about your child’s school.

We value your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your suggestions for improvement. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child. So far 20% of Davis families have responded.
