A Note From Mrs. Waters
Student Led Conferences will be next week on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have not yet, please sign up. To pick a time slot, enter this link in your internet browser:
www.ptcfast.com/reg1. At that link, you will be asked for your Entry Code, where you should enter HZ61138213. I am looking forward to meeting with you and your child next week. There will be no school on Thursday due to Student Led Conferences.
In math next week, we will begin Unit 6: Revisiting Operations, our last math unit of the year. Please read the attached parent letter about the unit. Carol Little will be giving another 'Let's Do the Math' presentation on April 30 from 8:10-9:00. More information will be coming.
In your child's green home folder is a yearbook pre-order form. If you would like to pre-order one please fill out the form and return it to school by May 4.
Reading
Students will be working on being a reading coach to their book buddy.

Students will be solving different types of word problems.

No After School Activities, Sports or Labs on Wednesday April 26th
There will be no after school activities, sports or labs on Wednesday April 26th due to Parent Teacher Conferences. All students will be dismissed at 3:00 PM.
Used Book Sale
The Elementary Used Book Sale will take place on April 24 - 27, in the breezeway outside of the new Library. Students will be able to purchase books with their DragonBands or use their coupons received by donating books. If you wish for your child to purchase books at the Used Book Sale please fill out the permission slip sent home with your child with the amount that your child is allowed to spend. Students will be able to buy books during recess times as well as before and after school. Parents are more than welcome to come and shop during the day, please note that all parents must enter through Gate 8. Used book donations can be brought to the ES Library. For every three books donated you get a coupon for a free book. All used books will be 5 QR
Earth Day Challenge Forms
Students are asked to take part in our Earth Day Challenge and become Earth Heros! Forms will be sent home with students on Thursday to take part in this challenge. We ask that students place a check next to the things on the chart every time that they do something to help the planet stay green. They can return the complete chart to the teacher on or before May 1st to be recognized as an Earth Hero!
To top up your Dragon Account:
Visit the Main Admin office or High School Cafeteria to top up at one of the Kiosks or parents and staff can also top up dragon accounts online.
