UNICEF Update . . .
Thank you for trick-or-treating for UNICEF this year. Titus Elementary donated a total of $1229.10 on November 19th for UNICEF’s efforts in bringing fresh water, nutrition, medicine, and education to children around the world. This is an increase of $200 over last year’s donation. Thank you for your response! We appreciate your care for our global community.
The Fuzzy Puppy Foundation . . .
I am Iona McMenemy, and I am in fourth grade. My dog Ursa, was sick over the summer. We took her to Penn Veterinary Hospital, and I remember they used old blankets for the animals in the hospital. So I decided to start a fundraiser to donate things like blankets and comforters to PennVeterinary Hospital.
I told my 6 friends, and we all came up with a name: The Fuzzy Puppy Foundation (FPF). We also came up with a slogan: It’s A Special Paws. We are collecting blankets, towels, sheets, and comforters to donate to the dogs. Our collection dates are December 2nd to January 15th. Look for the donation bin in the lobby.

Plea for Help . . .
I have loved being a Titus parent for the past 8 years. It is such a wonderful community. A community that thrives off its volunteerism. This is my 6th year as chairperson for both the Secret Shop and the Yearbook.
I have enjoyed being a part of both of these groups- seeing smiles on the students faces as they shop for their families at the Secret Shop and the excitement when the yearbooks come out in the Spring. This is my last year at Titus, and as I wind down my time here, I want to be sure that these 2 things continue on, even better in the coming years! There are 2 great parents ready to take on the challenge for the 2016-2017 school year- Heather Monser (Secret Shop) and Laura Zakrzewski (Yearbook), but they cannot and should not have to do it alone! I would love to share what being a part of these 2 groups entail.
Both committees are in full swing and it’s a great time to join the teams. If you are interested in being a Co-Chair for either Secret Shop or Yearbook, please contact me- Kerry Veith. Let’s be sure the Secret Shop and Yearbook continue on for years to come!!
Toys for Tabor Needs Your Help . . .
The season of giving is almost upon us and once again we at Titus will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Tabor Children Services from Friday, November 20th through December 9th. The children in need range from infant through 21 years of age. There will be decorated collection boxes in the lobby for your donations. Please click here for undesignated holiday gift ideas.
While shopping this holiday season, please consider picking up a gift for the children of Tabor House. For many, these will be the only gifts they receive. The children who benefit from your generosity are extremely grateful for your kindness. Please contact Katie Doerr with any questions you may have.
Thank you in advance for your support!
